2013 dodge
A bold, bright black grille center crosshairs, and body-color fascias display a proud attitude. The available dual chrome exhaust tips, 17-inch aluminum wheels and decklid spoiler, included when you choose the 3.6L Pentastar® V6 engine, hint at the performance capabilities of the Dodge Avenger SE.
Cut through the darkness with quad optics headlamps and bright Ring of Fire LED taillamps. The bifunctional headlamps are as striking as they are functional.
With a choice of available 17-inch wheel covers, 17-inch aluminum wheels, or four 18-inch aluminum wheel designs including an 18-inch chrome-clad wheel, you can make a bold statement every time you turn a corner.
Soft-touch armrests, instrument panel and door panels give the interior a 'premium' feel. The Dodge Avenger SE includes premium cloth bucket seats. A standard 60/40 split-folding rear seat gives you extra room for longer cargo. That is in addition to the generous 13.5-cubic foot trunk.
Other features include:
An oversized tachometer leads the lineup of high-contrast instruments - never letting you forget you're driving a Dodge Avenger.
The gentle glow makes any drive more interesting and the controls even easier to use.
Enjoy your favorite music with the Uconnect® 130. Play CDs, plus MP3 and WMA files.
Available Uconnect Voice Command with Bluetooth® lets you stream music wirelessly through your car speakers with Bluetooth Streaming Audio from an Internet-connected smartphone. That means no cords, plugs, or hassles.
Hook up virtually any music player, including most cell phones, just by plugging into the available USB or AUX (headphone) port. Then you can control the music from the stereo or the integrated controls on the steering wheel.
Each engine features Variable Valve Timing (VVT) to improve engine breathing, efficiency, and performance.
2.4L 16-valve four-cylinder World engine (173 horsepower and 166 lb-ft of torque). This engine features Variable Valve Timing (VVT). It provides peak power and torque with a smooth idle and solid low-speed operation. And gets up to 29 hwy mpg +.
3.6L Pentastar® V6 engine (283 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque). In addition to its power and control, the 3.6L Pentastar® V6 also features Variable Valve Timing (VVT). It uses computer-aided engineering on the structure, and computer controlled intake, and exhaust systems to maximize power and efficiency. All while getting up to 29 hwy mpg+. It is mated to the six-speed automatic AutoStick transmission.
The available six-speed automatic transmission is equipped with a low first gear, designed to make quick takeoffs from a stop. And it does that while using variable line pressure to help increase gas mileage+ and enhance reliability. The SE's standard I-4 engine is teamed with an efficient four-speed automatic transmission. The available V6 engine is teamed with the six-speed Autostick transmission.

With safety cage construction, two multistage front airbags, two seat-mounted side airbags and two side-curtain airbags, the Dodge Avenger was a natural choice for the 2012 IIHS TOP SAFETY PICK+
When it senses emergency braking, Brake Assist boosts braking power. It decreases stopping distance by helping to eliminate the delay when you don't brake hard enough, soon enough.
Electronic Stability Control helps maintain directional control. The system steps in when it detects that you're veering off your intended path, engaging the Antilock Brake System and adjusting the throttle as required.
Active front head restraints+ move forward and upward during a rear-end collision to decrease the space between the headrest and head, helping reduce the risk of head and spinal injuries.
The available Electronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC) is a customizable driver information system. It includes the Tire Pressure Monitoring display, which shows each tire's pressure and alerts you if one falls below or climbs above a safe pressure.
Child protection rear door locks disable the interior rear door handles, allowing parents to open them only from the outside. Child seat anchors help attach a child safety seat more securely than just a seatbelt.
All Dodge Avenger models include the Sentry Key® Theft Deterrent System and a security alarm. Sentry Key only allows the vehicle to start with the properly encoded key. The security alarm monitors the doors, trunk, hood, and ignition, and alerts you of attempted theft.
