During extreme steering maneuvers the standard Electronic Stability Control+ helps maintain directional control. It senses when there's a difference between your intended path and the actual path, by comparing steering input with the vehicle's movement. It applies selective braking, and engine throttle control, to help guide the vehicle back on to your intended path.
Anticipating the need for additional traction, the available all-wheel-drive system automatically responds to wheel slippage and improves vehicle stability.
The available ParkSense® Rear Park Assist System+ uses sensors that detect objects when driving in reverse at low speeds. The sensors determine relative distance and readouts in the instrument cluster notify you of the proximity of the object. It also alerts you by sounding an audible warning.
The available Rear Cross Path Detection System+ helps you when backing out of parking spaces if vehicles block your view on both sides. Sensors monitor for vehicles / objects crossing your path when you're moving in Reverse. The system ignores parked cars, but alerts you with an icon in the exterior mirrors if a vehicle approaches from the left or right.

- PARKVIEW® REAR BACK UP CAMERA

When moving in reverse the available ParkView® Rear Back Up Camera+ provides a wide-angle view of the area immediately behind your vehicle and displays it on the Uconnect® Touchscreen. The image includes on-screen guide lines to help you when maneuvering into narrow parking spaces.
- MULTIFUNCTION EXTERIOR MIRRORS

Depending on the model, the power exterior mirrors, available on the Dodge Durango, perform a multitude of tasks. In addition to folding out of the way, having a heat feature, being adjustable with the touch of a button, dimming automatically (driver's mirror only) to help reduce glare at night, and automatically tilting down when the vehicle is shifted into reverse they house integrated turn signals, provide blind spot notification, and alert you of rear cross path detection.
