ACCIDENT AVOIDANCE

Standard on all Challenger models, Electronic Stability Control+ helps you maintain control during extreme steering maneuvers. The system works with traction control and the antilock brake system to help keep you on course.

Electronic Stability Control provides sophisticated four channel active handling, which delivers traction where you need it the most. The system monitors steering input and vehicle motion, sensing when there’s a difference between your intended path and the vehicle’s actual path. It applies selective braking, and may reduce engine torque, to help guide your vehicle back on to your intended path.

Two-Mode Electronic Stability Control+ allows you to select "Full On" or "Partial Off". Partial Off disables the engine torque management and only applies selective braking interaction.

Challenger 392 SRT8® is specially tuned for performance handling, and gives you the option of switching the Electronic Stability Control system off when you don’t want the extra help.

Standard All-Speed Traction Control limits wheelspin during acceleration so that the drive wheels have maximum traction. It’s particularly useful when starting off in wet or icy conditions.

If wheelspin is detected, the system applies brake pressure to the slipping wheel(s) and if necessary, will reduce engine power to help maintain traction and vehicle stability.
