Electronic Stability Control+ helps you maintain control during extreme steering maneuvers.
- The system senses when there's a difference between your intended path and the vehicle's actual path, by comparing steering input with the vehicle's movement
- It applies selective braking and engine throttle control, to help guide the vehicle back onto your intendedpath
Standard all-speed traction control uses the ABS sensors to determine when a wheel is beginning to slip.
If wheel spin is detected:
- Traction control applies brake pressure to the slipping wheel(s) to help slow the wheel(s), to regain traction
- It may also reduce engine power to maintain traction and vehicle stability
The standard Antilock Brake System on Dodge Avenger provides added control while braking, especially under slippery conditions.
Brake Assist applies maximum braking power to help you in emergency braking situations.
- When you apply brake pedal pressure suddenly, a sensor interprets this as a panic stop
- It applies and maintains maximum braking pressure to help you stop in the shortest distance possible

- ELECTRONIC VEHICLE INFORMATION CENTER (EVIC)

The Available Electronic Vehicle Information Center is a customizable driver information system.
Display choices include:
- Personal settings
- Outside temperature
- Compass
- Audio modes
- Trip computer
- System status messages, including tire pressure monitoring
The display can be changed using steering wheel-mounted controls for added safety and convenience.
TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM
A system that constantly monitors pressure, the Tire Pressure Monitoring System alerts you via a warning light in the instrument cluster if one or more of the tires falls below the recommended pressure. The available Tire Pressure Monitoring Display presents each tire's actual pressure in the Electronic Vehicle Information Center, always keeping you informed.
