We reset the curve. Nitro has a performance-tuned suspension that was altered for better performance to suit on-road drivers.
Nitro gives you a choice of a standard two-wheel drive or an available shift-on-the fly, part-time four-wheel-drive system. And in extreme steering maneuvers, the Electronic Stability Controlen_always_drive_carefully helps you maintain control. It senses when a vehicle is starting to spin or plow, and works with traction control and the available Antilock Brake System to help keep the Nitro on course.
Adding to the smooth ride and serious traction that Nitro provides:
- Short- and Long-Arm independent front suspension provides rock-steady ride, handling and steering control.
- Solid-axle five-link rear suspension provides stability, especially when fully loaded or towing a trailer.
- Performance-tuned suspension for even more grip.
