Engineers completely retooled and delivered a whopping 20-percent improvement in horsepower and 12-percent bump in torque over the previous V6. The engine torque exceeds 90-percent of peak torque from 1,600 to 6,400 rpm for a smooth, responsive driving experience. All this, and it’s still able to deliver a quieter driving experience and improved fuel economy.
