- Safety cage
- Dynamic front crumple zones and side-impact door beams built into the body cage of Ram trucks provide structural safety. These areas help deflect and absorb the forces of an impact in the unfortunate event of an accident.
- Automatic headlamps
All-New automatic headlamps are standard on all Dodge Ram Heavy Duty trucks. Simply set the headlamp switch to automatic, and the headlamps turn on after dusk and off in daylight. The headlamps can also be manually controlled.
- Sentry Key and Security Alarm
With the Sentry Key® engine immobilizer, you can rest assured knowing that no one can drive your truck without a properly encoded key. The Vehicle Theft Security Alarm monitors the door ajar and ignition switches to deter vandalism and theft.
- Roadside safety kit
The available Mopar® roadside safety kit comes loaded with handy emergency tools including: jumper cables, a flashlight, a reflector, a fire extinguisher, emergency tape, a multipurpose knife, gloves and water.
