Accident Avoidance

For optimum control, Ram has the Electronic Stability Control[1] (ESC). ESC automatically analyzes steering wheel angle, turning rate, lateral acceleration and wheel speed to determine appropriate brake and throttle actions. ESC includes Hill Start Assist, which applies the brakes momentarily to prevent roll back on hills, and Trailer Sway Control[1], which helps prevent fishtailing.

Other accident avoidance features:

  • Standard antilock brakes
  • ParkSense® rear park assist[2]
  • ParkView® rear back up camera[2].
