Tight corners or wide-open straight-aways, inclement weather or pure blue sky, Charger delivers superb handling and control. The Electronic Stability Program (ESP)[1] is designed to assist drivers in maintaining control of their vehicles during extreme steering maneuvers. ESP[1] senses when a vehicle is starting to spin (oversteer) or plow (understeer), and attempts to correct the vehicle's course by automatically controlling the throttle and applying the brakes at individual wheels.
ESP[1] works in conjunction with the available all-wheel drive (AWD) and available antilock brake systems improve overall traction and directional stability, as well as deliver excellent cornering balance and improved acceleration over rear-wheel drive.
