    Avenger SXT's available 2.7-liter V6 accepts both conventional unleaded gasoline and E85[1], an environmentally friendly blend of 85 percent ethanol and 15 percent unleaded gasoline. 
     
    Dual variable valve timing helps the 2.4-liter World Engine deliver optimum performance, while also improving fuel efficiency[2] with an impressive 30 mpg on the highway[2]. The 3.5-liter V6 engine credits its 26 highway mpg[4] to a six-speed automatic transmission with AutoStick® that promotes better fuel economy[4].
