    Nitro's potent 4.0-liter engine delivers its punches through a standard electronically controlled five-speed automatic transmission—the same heavy-duty gearbox found on the mighty 6.1-liter HEMI®-powered Dodge Magnum SRT8, Charger SRT8, Chrysler 300C SRT8, and Jeep® Grand Cherokee SRT8.

    3.7-liter V6-powered Nitro vehicles can be equipped with an available electronic four-speed automatic.

  • Six-Speed Manual

    To shift, or not to shift. 3.7-liter V6-powered models come standard with a smooth shifting fully synchronized six-speed manual transmission. The new close-ratio six-speed provides a wide spread of gear ratios for maximum acceleration, fuel economy[1], and overall performance.
