  • Suspension

    Nitro's standard sport suspension and wheels-to-the-corner design gives you serious pavement-punishing traction and a smooth, stable ride. A short- and long-arm (SLA) independent front suspension provides rock-steady ride, handling and steering control, and a new solid-axle five-link rear suspension offers improved stability—especially when fully loaded or towing a trailer. Nitro R/T features standard 20-inch wheels with a unique performance-tuned suspension for even more grip.

  • Electronic Stability Program (ESP)

    Electronic Stability Program[1] is designed to assist drivers in maintaining control of their vehicles during extreme steering maneuvers. ESP senses when a vehicle is starting to spin (oversteer) or plow (understeer), and attempts to correct the vehicle's course by automatically controlling the throttle and applying the brakes at individual wheels.

  • 20-Inch Chrome Wheels

    20-inch chrome clad aluminum wheels (standard R/T, optional SLT, with performance suspension package) ensure that Nitro stands ;out from the crowd of cut-and-dried SUVs. When it's time to step up and get noticed, Nitro rolls in a whole new direction.
