Electronic Stability Program (ESP)
The available Electronic Stability Program[1] (ESP) is designed to assist drivers in maintaining control of their vehicles during extreme steering maneuvers. ESP senses when a vehicle is starting to spin (oversteer) or plow (understeer), and attempts to correct the vehicle's course by automatically controlling the throttle and applying the brakes at individual wheels.
Available on SE and standard on all other models.

- Always drive carefully, consistent with conditions. Always wear your seat belt and obey traffic laws.
AntiLock Brakes
Magnum's available antilock brake system (ABS)—standard on all models—gives you the added peace of mind that comes with knowing the latest braking technology has been engineered into your vehicle. ABS provides shorter, more controlled stops. This means improved stability and control during emergency braking. Available with ESP, all-speed traction control and brake assist. Available on SE and standard on all other models.

All-Wheel Drive
The all-wheel-drive system available on Magnum SXT and R/T improves acceleration when traction is limited and supplies power to both axles at all times; a planetary center differential allows the axles to rotate at different speeds for precise cornering.

Tire-Pressure Monitoring System
Maintaining accurate tire pressure is not only good for the life of your tires, but can help increase your cars fuel efficiency. Magnum's tire-pressure monitoring system continuously monitors the pressures of each tire for proper inflation, and illuminates a warning indicator when low tire pressure is detected.

- SmartWay® Certification on Magnum RWD SXT model only.
