All-Wheel Drive and Suspension
Charger is just as much about its powerfully built engines as it is about how well all that power is reined in. Four-wheel independent suspension provides high-performance handling, ride and traction. And with rear-wheel-drive and the longest wheelbase in its class, Charger has control of the road. The all-wheel-drive system available on Charger SXT and R/T improves acceleration where traction is limited and supplies power to both axles at all times; a planetary center differential allows the axles to rotate at different speeds for smooth cornering.

Electronic Stability Program (ESP)
The available Electronic Stability Program[1] is designed to assist drivers in maintaining control of their vehicle during extreme steering maneuvers. ESP senses when a vehicle is starting to spin (oversteer) or plow (understeer), and attempts to correct the vehicle's course by automatically controlling the throttle and applying the brakes at individual wheels. Available on SE and standard on all other models. Available on SE and standard on SE Plus Package plus all other models.
