Chrysler Jeep® Dodge Offer a Delicious "Taste of Detroit" at Motown Winter Blast
- Participating chefs offer menu samples, recipes and serving ideas
- New products from Chrysler, Jeep® and Dodge will be on display at the Taste of Detroit
WHAT: Special pre-opening media taste testing
What do you get when you mix automobiles, winter weather, Motown and great food? The Chrysler Jeep® Dodge Taste of Detroit.
As the restaurants gear up for the tens of thousands of people who will sample their wares during Super Bowl XL, Detroit-area media are invited to enjoy the first Taste of Detroit and experience cuisines from all over the world.
Restaurants will offer samples, recipes and epicurean advice to interested media.
The Chrysler Jeep Dodge Taste of Detroit is Chrysler Group's ingredient to the Motown Winter Blast recipe. Spanning three tents (two in Campus Martius and one in Greektown), Chrysler Jeep Dodge Taste of Detroit will feature food from more than 40 restaurants, marshmallow roasting, warming stations, and local music stages with more than 60 bands.
Participating restaurants and menus include:
- Agave (Mexican Cuisine) - Tamales, Duck Empanada, Crab Stuffed Jalapeno
- American Masala (Indian Cuisine) - Vegetarian Samosas, Kabob Roll, Chicken Tikka Masala with Rice
- Big Daddy The Traveling Chef (American Fare) - Bar-B-Q, Chicken, Biscuits
- Buffalo Wild Wings (American Fare) - Chicken and Boneless Wings
- Da Edwardo Foxtown Grille (Italian Cuisine) - Minestrone Da Edwardo, Cannolis, Tortellini alla Bolognese, Pizza Rolls
- Garden Fresh (Salads and Veggies) - Garden Fresh Salsa and Chips, Hot Artichoke Dip and Chips, Cream Cheese Salsa Dip and Chips
- Louisiana Creole Gumbo (Ragin' Cajun) - Gumbo Supreme, Gumbo, BBQ Shrimp, Shrimp Ragout, Red Beans and Rice Supreme
- The Palm (Gourmet Cuisine) - Chef Troy's Chili, Jumbo Lump Crabcake, Gigi Salad
- The Turkey Grill (Turkey and more Turkey) - Smoked Turkey Legs, Cajun Fried Turkey Wings, Turkey Chili
- La Shish (Mediterranean Cuisine) - TBD
